Scratched or chipped glass
Deep scratches and chipped corners cannot be polished out of a watch screen. If they bother you or catch your finger, a new screen is the fix.
Lines, blotches or dead pixels
Coloured lines, dark patches or a section that stopped lighting up after a drop. That is the display panel itself, which comes as part of the screen.
